When you want to find books in the Trent Library, search the Library Catalogue. There's an online tutorial available to tell you about the Library Catalogue.

Use a keyword search to find items on a topic. For instance, to find books about health of indigenous peoples in Canada  you might use the search strategy below.  Use the Advanced Search to improve your results.

All books are shelved according to the Library of Congress (LC) Call Number Classifications. Once you find a good book on your topic, browse the shelf around it to find related books or you can virtually browse in the catalogue by using the "Nearby items on shelf" button.   If you wish to browse the print collection of nursing books, consult the call number list below.
