Library Product Trials

The Library frequently trials resources from vendors. This guide lists these trials.

Library Trials

The Trent University Library is regularly evaluating new resources for possible acquisition. Free trial access is often provided by product suppliers for the purpose of allowing students and faculty to test the databases and provide feedback on their experience. On this webpage you will find information to the products we are currently trialing, as well as links to user feedback surveys.  If you are an instructor or student in a program that uses anatomy and physiology reference tools, we ask that you please take a few minutes to fill out this short anonymous survey. Your feedback will help the library make an informed decision on which electronic databases best support Trent University's teaching and research mission.

Anatomy and Physiology Database Trials

Trent University Library will be trialing three new anatomy and physiology databases with the aim of supporting our academic programs relating to biology and kinesiology. These innovative products breathe new life into traditional anatomical reference manuals by including real 3D medical scans, with the ability to peal away layers. Faculty will be able to use these resources by integrating content into their teaching materials. There are lots of new and exciting features included in these platforms that will benefit faculty and students at Trent.

Trial access to the following databases will begin on May 1, 2024.
