Use a keyword search to find items on a topic. For instance, to find books on early childhood education in Ontario you might search for "early childhood education" and Ontario
TOPCAT uses LCSH (subject headings) in most records, to help us identify items of interest.

Study and teaching
The study and teaching heading is particularly useful because you can combine that in a keyword search with any school specific subject, ie. mathematics and "study and teaching".
