Opening Up Copyright
The Opening Up Copyright (OUC) module series is made available by the University of Alberta Copyright Office.

OUC modules have been produced with the assistance of funding at the University of Alberta through its Centre for Teaching and Learning’s Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund (TLEF)(2017-21) and OER Grant Program (2020), and through a Support for the Advancement of Scholarship (SAS) grant (2021).
Copyright Open Educational Resource for University Instructors and Staff (CARL)
This series provides university employees with a general overview of copyright through seven short, self-directed, bilingual instructional modules.

Each module contains a short video, usually between 4 and 6 minutes in length, and a quiz. The webpage text that follows the video is a transcript of the narration from the corresponding video for the module. The quizzes at the end of each module are learning tools; results are not monitored or retained.
