Open Educational Resources (OER): Instructor Guide

Mix and Match OER and E-Reserve Course Readings

Another way to make your course readings more affordable for students is to use the Trent Library Leganto Course Readings service in combination with OER's you create or adapt.

Library’s Leganto Course Readings Servie

This service lets you make course materials available to your students and ensures those materials have the correct copyright permissions.  Your students will have free, 24/7 online access to course readings in the password protected Blackboard Learning System.

Each term you teach a course you need to re-order your course readings. Leganto enables you to create and keep reading lists that can be edited and used for multiple courses. Leganto primarily uses licensed Library Resources in the form of e-books, newspapers articles, journal articles, links to public-facing web resources,  and copyright cleared materials, and fair dealing to organize an affordable reading list accessible in Blackboard. For further information see our Leganto guide.

No costs are passed on to students!
