Purpose

The Data Visualization Lab in Peterborough and the Data Visualization Workstation in Durham are part of the Moore Innovation Hub and are managed by Trent Library Maps, Data & Government Information Centre (MaDGIC). 

These resources are available for use by registered members of Trent University who require access to spatial and statistical technologies for research or coursework.

Access Options - Symons Campus

• Drop-in use and appointments are available during regular service hours.
• After-hours access to the Peterborough lab is available subject to approval.

Access Options - Trent Durham GTA Campus

• Durham users have access to a data visualization workstation in the Trent Durham GTA Campus Library & Learning Centre.
• Access to the Durham workstation is subject to Library & Learning Centre hours and workstation availability.

Software Availability

Various spatial, statistical and visualization software packages are available. Note that not all computers will have the same packages installed. A software key is available here (insert link) and posted in the lab for users.
