As of July 1, 2025, all Trent-affiliated corresponding authors are eligible to publish accepted open-access articles in the ACM Digital Library with no article processing charge (APC). This agreement covers a wide range of scholarly content including research articles, review articles, short papers, survey articles, technical notes, tutorials, interviews, case studies, and notes published in ACM journals, magazines, and conference proceedings. ACM books are excluded from this agreement.
Authors must use a valid Trent University email address when submitting their work and provide a valid ORCID for the ACM systems to properly identify them as an affiliated author. Upon acceptance, authors will have the option to select from Creative Commons licence options. There is no limit on the number of eligible articles that may be published under this agreement.
