There is not one database that covers every journal, so you may need to look in more than one place. Although the Web of Science indexes most of the important scholarly journals in the forensic sciences, it does not index all journals that may be useful for your studies in the Forensic Science Program. The Journal of Forensic Investigation, Journal of Forensic Identification and Identification Canada are peer reviewed journals and could each be considered both a scholarly and trade journal. They publish articles written by forensic professionals and researchers about techniques in forensic science. You can identify articles published in these journals by searching Google Scholar. For more information about Google Scholar and how to link it to Trent University, see our guide Using Google, Google Scholar and other Web Search Engines.
